Your Toowoomba Teachers

Deborah Hawkins began teaching 6 years ago after completing her initial studies with My Health Yoga. She then went on to complete training as a Yoga Therapist through the Yoga & Integrative Medicine Institute. Deborah is a versatile teacher who teaches a variety of classes for both the Zama Yoga Toowong and Toowoomba studios including Aerial Yoga, Barre and her favourite Restorative classes for its purposes of completely relaxing and releasing.

Our 200hr yoga teacher training course is fully registered with Yoga Australia and graduates can obtain provisional membership. Please refer to Yoga Australia membership guidelines. 200hr yoga teacher training course graduates must upgrade to our 350hr yoga teacher training course to become a full member of Yoga Australia. Graduates of the 200hr yoga teacher training course are still fully qualified to obtain insurance to teach yoga.

Upon completion of our 200hr yoga teacher training course, you can undertake a range of courses with YIMI to upgrade your qualification.

A range of accommodation options are available to students at the Upper Brookfield Retreat campus. This is generally suitable for students undertaking courses at the Upper Brookfield Retreat campus, although if you have a car, the campus is only a 20 minute drive to the Zama Yoga Toowong campus. For accommodation bookings at the Upper Brookfield Retreat campus, contact the Upper Brookfield Retreat directly.
